Following its recent acquisition of Halesfield Truck and Van in Telford, DAF dealer Greenhous has begun an investment programme to improve facilities and services for customers and staff.
The site in Haybrook, Halesfield – now renamed Greenhous DAF Telford – is refurbishing its ATF lane for MOT testing and it also plans to increase its parts storage as well as develop its parts sales point. The facility includes an air-conditioning recharging system and being part of Greenhous means that its IT provision has been upgraded making procedures quicker and more efficient.
Greenhous DAF has franchises in Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton and central Birmingham and the acquisition has helped extend its geographical footprint to serve commercial vehicle customers from the West coast of Mid-Wales, through Shropshire and Staffordshire and into central Birmingham.
Newly appointed Aftersales Manager at the facility Liam White (pictured) said: “We have a good team of six technicians, including an apprentice, and they are ably supported by the service, parts and administrative staff. I am enjoying the building of relationships with our customers. We see our business partners far more often than in the car world and a trusting relationship is built up over time and needs care and attention.”
