Scania dealer Keltruck has inaugurated a new service centre in Lutterworth.
The purpose-built premises are in the Magna Park industrial development at Hunters Boulevard, Leicestershire, close to the M1, M6 and M69 motorways and will provide commercial vehicle operators of all marques with a range of aftersales services. Earlier this year Scania opened a new commercial vehicle service centre on a three-acre greenfield site near Gatwick airport.
Russ Warner, aftersales director at Keltruck said: “We have had a presence in Lutterworth for many years and this latest investment demonstrates our long-term commitment, both to operators in the area and sustainability. The facility has been developed to deliver a full service for trucks, buses, coaches and industrial engines, and we now look forward to welcoming our existing and new customers to the branch.”
Keltruck Lutterworth is based on a 17,500 square metre site with a four-bay workshop and secure parking for 26 large goods vehicles. The facility includes a tachograph bay, brake roller testing equipment and a wash bay.
In addition to vehicle maintenance, the facility offers a full service for trailers, including double-deck trailers and tail-lifts. The premises have been built to a high environmental standard, including water-saving features throughout, lighting which is automatically controlled and dims with ambient light, and roof-mounted solar panels to save on power consumption.
Opening hours are: Monday-Thursday 00:00-22:00; Friday 06:00-21:00; Saturday 06:00-2:00 and Sunday 21:00-24:00.
