Mercedes-Benz Vans and Trucks Dealer Group, Rygor Commercials, have announced its 2018 Charities of the Year, as nominated and voted for by its team members.
Rygor’s Charities of the Year initiative was set up in 2015 to enable the company’s team members to nominate and vote to support charities which benefit some of the local community. Over the past few years, Rygor has raised more than £30,000 for six local charities.
This year the Rygor team will be fundraising for Camp Mohawk, Shooting Star Chase and Wiltshire Air Ambulance. Shooting Star Chase provides hospice care to babies, children and young people in London and Surrey and Camp Mohawk is a multi-functional day centre for children with special needs and their families in Berkshire. Wiltshire Air Ambulance provides an essential Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) in Wiltshire and surrounding areas.
Tim Stacey, Rygor managing director, said: “As a team we are greatly looking forward to supporting these three fantastic causes throughout 2018. Our Charities of the Year initiative allows our team to support causes which are local to our branches and affect the communities which many of us call home. As one of the owners of the business, it is always a proud moment to see our team come together to give back to others.”
