Salary: £38k-£45k Basic. OTE £55k-£80k Uncapped.
We are working with an established commercial vehicle main dealership looking for a new Area Sales Manager to join their successful business.
Reporting directly into the Sales Director, the main responsibility of this role is to promote the sale of a range of products and services including new vehicles within the Witham region.
As the primary customer contact for both new sales and aftersales services the role seeks to enhance existing customer relationships as well as identify and convert new custom.
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities
Pro-active selling and marketing of the dealerships vehicles and their range of products and promotions in line with agreed sales & profitability targets to both new and existing customers.
Maintaining regular and professional contact that develops strong customer relationships with both existing and prospective customers
Actively utilise and maintain customer data within CRM system.
Develop relations with both internal departments and suppliers, ensuring effective communication that delivers business objectives and quality customer experience
Maintain knowledge of changes in legislation, vehicle models, company policies and technical assistance

Comfortable with Telemarketing and cold calling new customers

Good computer skills inc. MS office in particular
Current heavy vehicle licence
Knowledge of the heavy truck and bus industry
3 to 5 years relevant work experience in sales
Experience / skills regarded as ideal but not essential
Comfortable dealing with prospects and customers from Board level to owner driver
Ability to show perseverance
Motivated by successful target achievement
Positive approach toward the use of CRM
