Scania has appointed Andrew Jamieson to the new position of UK Operations and Risk Director, effective from 1 September.
He makes the move after several years with Scania dealer Keltruck, prior to which he was Marketing Director at Scania’s Milton Keynes headquarters.
In this new role, Jamieson will be responsible for overseeing the management of Scania’s UK contracts, rental and used vehicle portfolios. With regard to the latter, he will work closely with Peter Ross, the company’s Used and Export Sales Director.
“Keltruck is in fantastic shape for the future and I’m sure the company will continue to go from strength-to-strength,” said Jamieson. “While it is exciting to be taking up this new role at Scania, I am sad to be leaving Keltruck and would like to wish my colleagues at the company all the best for the future.”
Scania (Great Britain) Managing Director Claes Jacobsson added: “We recognise the excellent job Andrew has done for Keltruck over the past seven years and congratulate him on his achievements there. He has an excellent CV with extensive experience in many areas of the commercial vehicle industry, and on behalf of the entire Scania UK organisation I would like to wish him every success in his new role.”
