Renault Trucks has strengthened its sales team in Scotland with the appointment of two new Transport Solutions Executives (TSE).
The addition of Angus McIntosh and Calum Aitken to the team reflects Renault Truck’s continued growth in, and commitment to, Scotland.
Reporting to Richard Voigt, Regional Sales Manager for Scotland and Ireland, the new TSEs will develop Renault Trucks’ business with existing customers and new prospects throughout the country.
McIntosh, who is responsible for driving sales in the east of Scotland, brings to his new role a wealth of experience gained in sales and management roles across the commercial vehicle industry, including at Mercedes Benz and MAN.
Aitken, TSE for the west of Scotland, is a former Renault Trucks Apprentice of the Year, having risen up through the manufacturer’s own training scheme before making his first move into sales.
Voigt said: “We are delighted to welcome Angus and Calum at an exciting time for Renault Trucks in Scotland. Great reviews of our new vehicle line-up, the ‘International Truck of the Year 2015’ award for the Range T, and our strong demonstrator programme are rapidly driving demand. Angus’s proven commercial sales experience and Calum’s technical insights are of great value to the team, and both have made an immediate impact on our business, helping to strengthen our sales presence in this challenging market.”
Peter Murray, General Sales Manager – Retail, Renault Trucks UK, comments: “Scotland is a great opportunity for Renault Trucks to develop its business and our investment in key people and our dealer network demonstrates our commitment to the market. Angus and Calum, together with Richard, will ensure that as our business grows, our customers continue to receive the highest level of service support.”
