VOLVO TRUCKS’ DELIVERIES IMPROVING IN EUROPE

WMS Warranty

In May, deliveries of Volvo trucks were up 4% worldwide compared with the same month last year.  This growth was down to successes in America and Asia, whilst Europe was still down on the 2012 figures.  In Europe 3,556 vehicles were delivered during May, down 11%. Taking Eastern Europe out of the equation, Western Europe was just 8% behind – looking at the UK, however, Volvo registered over 17% more trucks than in 2012.

The trend in Western Europe as a whole seems to be improving, with Volvo’s May figures at –8% an improvement over their total for the year of –16%.volvologolow res
