Our client is one of the leading commercial vehicle manufacturers across the globe. As part of a wider Region initiative within the fast growing operation of used vehicle sales, we now have an opportunity for an individual to make their mark within their Operations in the UK.
We are currently looking to appoint an additional Regional Sales Manager – Used Vehicles. This appointment will be based at our Used Vehicle Centre at Coventry and will report to the General Sales Manager – Used Vehicles.
This opportunity will have a dual focus in assisting and supporting nominated truck dealers to maximise sales opportunities, and to identify and close territory sales opportunities which enhance the brand and improve profitability.
The successful candidate must evidence the following skills:
- At least three years relevant retailing experience within a used truck operation
- Industry knowledge of the used sector and of trade buyers
- Good team work attitude and contribution with a determined and positive attitude to problem solving
- Strong, proven administration skills including good computer literacy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Mechanical knowledge and experience of working within a manufacturer environment would also be an advantage
- Previous experience in generating marketing initiatives on a local scale.
The successful candidate will be required to travel the UK extensively with the necessity for nights way from home. Some overseas travel may be required.
