HAVE YOU STOCK OF LONDON LEZ NON-COMPLIANT VEHICLES?WOULD YOU LIKE TO INCREASE THE VALUE OF YOUR VEHICLE BY FITTING WITH THE BAUMOT DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER (DPF)?
With less than 3 months (3rd January 2012) to the start of the London’s low emission zone (LEZ) operators with non-compliant vehicles that need to enter London are faced with a limited number of options to avoid having to pay heavy fines, such as:
- Fitting with an approved “Diesel Particulate Abatement Device”
- Purchasing a new or second-hand compliant vehicle
- Re-organising their fleet so only compliant vehicles enter the zone
- Paying the daily charge
By working together with Baumot UK Ltd and retrofitting your LEZ non-compliant vehicles with the Baumot Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF), you will not only have the opportunity to “Increase the Intrinsic Value” of the vehicle stock in your dealership, but as a “Baumot Dealer” you will also have the opportunity to “Increase Future Revenues” by offering a “Filter Cleaning Service” to the customers purchasing the vehicles fitted with the Baumot DPF System.
Baumot are a “Global Specialist” in the area of exhaust after-treatment with facilities throughout Europe, United States and China.
In Europe, as well as being approved under the London LEZ scheme in the UK, Baumot products are also certified by VERT (Switzerland) and TUV/KBA (Germany), which means operators purchasing our equipment will not only be approved for the London LEZ but also for “All Low Emission Zones” throughout Europe, which will be a major advantage for International Operators purchasing vehicles through your dealership.
The Baumot “BA-B” DPF system which comprises of a “Catalysed Particulate Filter” in conjunction with a “Diesel Oxidation Catalyst” housed in a “Modular Stainless Steel Housing” in probably the most robust system on the market, with extremely low “soot light-off temperatures” making it ideal for inner city operation.
Their DPF systems combusts the soot particles collected in the filter “Passively” which means they require no additives, hence no additional running costs for the system.
The DPF systems which are warranted for two years are also equipped with an ECU to measure the exhaust back pressure and report on any potential problems before the occur.
Currently most of the Baumot DPF Systems are available on a 4-6 week lead-time, however operators who continue to leave it too long to have their vehicles upgraded may find it difficult to obtain the filters they require to make their vehicles compliant before the start of the program and will potentially be facing heavy fines to operate within the zone.
