MAN Profits Down

The second quarter of 2009 was not much better than the first for MAN. According to the company, incoming orders remain low and a turnaround is currently not in sight. Nevertheless, MAN again generated an operating profit in the second quarter that is on a level with the previous quarter.
Revenue from commercial vehicles declined by 39%but generated a positive operating profit in the first six months of the year, while the entire truck business, together with MAN Latin America, recorded €18 million.
