The new website of GE’s used van and truck arm Broadway Motor Company has registered more than 100,000 hits since it was launched six months ago.
www.broadwaymotorcompany.co.uk lists the hundreds of vans and trucks currently held in stock by Broadway at its seven locations across the country with a number of high-resolution pictures, video and a detailed history available for each vehicle.
Sales leader Ian Griffiths explained that because the price of all vehicles included a full service, MOT and a warranty, customers felt that the site offered a high degree of reassurance.
He said: "The web site is very professional and underlines the strength of the Broadway brand - our 30 year history and the high quality of the vehicles that we offer. It is certainly helping us to reach customers that we would not otherwise be able to access easily."
Griffiths added that the web site had especially helped business at Broadway to stay buoyant through the recession with the company continuing to post good sales figures in the downturn.
